HVAC/Plumbing Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an experienced and hard-working HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Tech in our company, you will be responsible to maintain a broad range of Heating Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, and refrigeration equipment (HVAC) to include Package Units, Chillers, Boilers, Air Handlers, Chilled Water Loops, Humidifiers, Exhaust Hoods.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assemble, test, install, and maintain existing HVAC equipment and systems
• Determine the causes of system and equipment failures
• Use of a wide range of testing and metering equipment to test (continuity, amperage, voltage, fluid levels and pressures gauges)
• Installation and maintenance of new HVAC equipment
• Inspection and testing of systems for refrigerant leaks
• Repairs leaks, evacuates, clean, purge and recharge systems
• Advise the management team of critical systems that could be hazardous

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge and experience of building construction, mathematics, and mechanical systems
• Take responsibility, pay attention to safety procedures and legal regulations

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Computer Skills (able to effectively utilize internal Work Order System)

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• State recognized Vocational preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a journeyman HVAC Tech
• Valid driver’s license
• EPA Universal License.
• Plumbing experience is a must

Physical Requirements:

• Perform manually taxing tasks including lifting heavy equipment and maintaining strenuous positions.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.

The position is full time / year round, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday - Friday. Candidate must have HVAC & Plumbing experience. Position includes service calls and troubleshooting in both HVAC and Plumbing (refrigeration is also helpful). Occasional overtime and on call hours.

Must have a clean (insurable) DMV record.

Additional Requirements:
