HVACR Service Technician

Description

Experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician — $35–$50/hr. DOE
Peoria, AZ | Valley-Wide Service Area | Full-Time
We are an established HVAC/R service company based in Peoria, Arizona, serving commercial and residential customers throughout the Phoenix Valley.
We are looking for an experienced HVAC/R Service Technician who can independently diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and replace commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
This is not an entry-level position.
We are looking for a technician who can receive a service call, arrive at the customer's location, correctly diagnose the problem, determine the proper repair, complete the work, communicate professionally with the customer, document the service call, and move on to the next job without direct supervision or needing someone to troubleshoot the call for them.
Pay
$35.00–$50.00 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated field ability
Starting pay will be based on actual experience and troubleshooting ability, not simply years in the trade.
Wage review after 90 days based on demonstrated field performance.
A technician who proves capable of independently handling the full range of equipment we service will be compensated accordingly.

We Are Service Technicians — Not Salesmen
There are no sales quotas.
We are not looking for technicians to turn service calls into sales presentations.
Our job is to diagnose the equipment correctly, explain the problem honestly, recommend the appropriate repair or replacement when necessary, and take care of the customer.
If equipment can reasonably be repaired, we repair it. If replacement is the proper solution, we explain why.
We want technicians who take pride in fixing equipment, solving problems, and taking care of customers — not selling unnecessary equipment.
Important
Commercial refrigeration experience is required.
If your background is primarily residential maintenance, residential installation, or replacing parts based on someone else's diagnosis, this position will probably not be a good fit.
We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated, experienced technician with a strong work ethic and genuine troubleshooting ability.
EPA certification and a clean driving record are required.
If you are an experienced HVAC/R technician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, working independently, and taking care of customers, we'd like to talk with you.
