Hybrid Tesla Technician / Service Advisor -Mission Viejo, CA

We are a 30-year independent shop in Mission Viejo and the first in South Orange County to expand into and focus on Tesla Model S, 3, X, and Y. We are hiring one person to turn wrenches and write the jobs.

Day to day, about 70% is in the bay and 30% is the counter: Diagnose and repair Teslas, do fluid services and inspections on gas cars when the Tesla board is light, answer the phone, schedule, write repair orders, and order parts. You will talk to customers. This is not a heads-down tech role.

Required: solid diagnostic and electrical experience on modern cars, clean driving record, your own basic hand tools, and the ability to explain a repair without talking down to the owner.

Preferred: hands-on Tesla or other EV work, high-voltage training, or service-writing experience. We will train the right gas-car tech on Tesla procedures, Toolbox, and high-voltage safety.

Pay on hire: $32–$40/hour, set by what you can already do, not by a promise. Bonus tied to comeback rate and completed repair orders. Part-time or full-time. Path is lead tech, then a share of the Tesla book as the shop grows. No benefits yet, rate will be higher because of that.
