IBEW Image Inspectors Needed for Utility Drone Project (Remote)

Wiggins Tech is a commercial drone services company founded in 2017, specializing in aerial inspection and imaging for the electrical utility industry.

We are contracted with Hawaiian Electric Company (HECO) for a major inspection project. After successfully completing Phase 1 (1,000 poles), we are preparing for Phase 2 — 12,000 poles.

This phase requires IBEW image inspectors to review drone imagery for safety issues and record findings using HECO’s inspection software.

Position Details:

• Remote work — flexible hours, no set schedule
• Estimated duration: 2–3 months
• Pay: $7.50 per pole or $70/hour (no benefits or overtime)
• Training provided for both HECO’s software and Wiggins Tech’s PoleHawk platform

Requirements:

• Must be a current IBEW member (please do not apply if you are not)
• Comfortable working independently and reviewing large volumes of imagery

Onboarding:

• Wiggins Tech onboarding: 24–48 hours
• HECO onboarding: up to 2 weeks
