ICC PRE-STRESSED SPECIAL INSPECTOR - (LAS VEGAS)

Geotechnical & Environmental Services (GES) is seeking to an experienced Inspector to join our team in Southern Nevada.

What you'll do:

Perform field inspections of pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete elements.
Verify that all materials meet project specifications and are approved for use.
Observe and document placement of ducts, reinforcement, and pre-stressing strands.
Monitor concrete mixing, delivery, and placement operations.
Witness and verify stressing operations to design requirements and tolerances.
Review and verify tensioning operations and observe grouting of post-tensioned systems.
Document inspection results; submit daily reports including photographs, field observations, non-conformance issues, and corrective actions taken.
Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in concrete inspection
Certified as ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector
ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician – Grade I certification
Familiarity with IBC Chapter 17, ACI 318, PTI (Post-Tensioning Institute) standards
Valid driver's license and insurability under GES limitations
Associate’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. (Preferred)
OSHA 10 or 30-hour construction safety certification (Preferred)
