Ignition Interlock Installer (12Volt) (Mechanic)

Interlock Device of New Jersey is looking for an Installer for our South Jersey shops. (W.Berlin & Cherry Hill, South Jersey Region) We are a company that installs breathalyzers into vehicles for people who have been convicted of DUI. The breathalyzer prevents a vehicle from starting if the operator is intoxicated.

12 volt automotive wiring experience is preferred but we will train if applicant has no experience. If you have a mechanic background, or have installed car alarms, stereo systems you will have no problem with our automobile wiring of the ignition interlock system.

We are looking for a responsible and punctual individual with a somewhat automotive mechanic background, good people skills and good computer skills as well. Individual must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. This is a full time position. Duties would include: wiring up our interlock device into a vehicle (this is similar wiring to 12volt alarm, remote start wiring) greeting our clients upon arrival for installation, training clients how to use our device, performing a routine monthly checkup on our equipment and dealing one on one with our clients. Tech would will be traveling to locations within South Jersey different days throughout the week with a set schedule (vehicle mileage partial expense).
Tech must be willing to work some Saturdays and Mon-Fri with one weekday off. This is a full-time, 40/hr week position with incentives, and optional overtime.
