IMMEDIATE OPENINGS Union Drywall Carpenters | Journeymen & Apprentices

Hiring journeymen and advanced apprentices with experience in BOTH steel stud framing and drywall hanging.

We are an established union commercial drywall contractor hiring experienced workers for projects throughout the Twin Cities metro.

Experienced non-union carpenters willing to join the union are encouraged to apply.

PAY, BENEFITS & LOCAL WORK

• Journeyworker base wage: $50.04/hour, plus union benefits.
• Advanced apprentices paid according to union classification.
• Paid weekly.
• Union health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits.
• Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule.
• Local projects throughout the Twin Cities metro.
• No out-of-town travel.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Applicants must have hands-on commercial experience in both:

• Steel stud framing
• Drywall hanging

Journeymen: Able to perform both framing and hanging work independently under normal foreman direction, follow relevant drawings and installation details, and maintain quality at a productive pace.

Advanced apprentices: Must already have job-site experience in both steel stud framing and drywall hanging and be able to complete familiar tasks with limited direction while continuing to develop their skills.

These openings are for experienced carpenters and apprentices beyond the entry level.

REQUIREMENTS

• Measure, cut, fit, and install materials accurately.
• Safely use the tools required for your work.
• Follow job-site safety requirements and foreman direction.
• Show up consistently, on time, and ready to work.
• Work well with a crew and take responsibility for your workmanship.
• Communicate questions or problems before they lead to mistakes.
• Have dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

• Backing and blocking
• Shaft wall systems
• Acoustical ceilings

These additional skills are helpful but are not required.
