Description

A reputable residential framing and siding contractor, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive In-House Estimator to join our team. This is a full-time position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with project management, production, and field teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed material and labor take-offs for residential framing and siding projects
Analyze architectural, structural, and plot plans to identify scope, specifications, and potential challenges
Review and perform analysis of plot plans to determine project impacts, setbacks, elevations, and site-specific requirements
Print and organize plans and drawings for estimating, production, and field teams
Prepare and maintain accurate cost estimates, budgets, and proposals
Review and revise take-offs as projects progress or plans are updated
Organize and manage job start documentation and hand offs to production teams
Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure alignment between estimates and field execution
Track and update project costs, change orders, and budget impacts
Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, plans, and project data
Contribute to production scheduling and workflow planning
Support business development efforts with timely and competitive bids
Qualifications:
2+ years of estimating experience in residential framing, siding, or related construction fields
Proficiency in reading and interpreting residential construction drawings, plot plans, and specifications
Experience with printing and managing construction plan sets
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Familiarity with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Knowledge of current market pricing for labor and materials is a plus
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating and maintaining spreadsheets, formulas, data organization, and project tracking
