Independent Contractor – Carpentry / Plumbing / Electrical
We are looking for a dependable and experienced Independent Contractor to complete residential and commercial service work. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated professional who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and can work independently.
Responsibilities
Complete carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance.
Respond to assigned work orders and complete jobs in a timely manner.
Communicate professionally with customers while on-site.
Diagnose issues and provide effective solutions.
Maintain high-quality workmanship and leave every job site clean.
Travel independently to multiple job locations as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel independently to job sites.
Must own the tools necessary to complete service calls.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Dependable, punctual, and customer-focused.
Valid driver's license and proof of insurance preferred.
Compensation
Per-job flat rate pay.
Most projects average the equivalent of $30–$65+ per hour, plus travel fees, depending on the scope of work and efficiency.
Additional performance incentives and project bonuses are available on qualifying jobs, allowing experienced contractors to earn even more.
