Maintenance Technician / Industrial Electrician
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with strong electrical experience. The ideal candidate will have primary knowledge in industrial electrical systems, while also being capable of working on a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, hydraulic, and general maintenance tasks as needed.
This position is best suited for someone who is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and willing to work across multiple systems to help keep equipment and facilities operating efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities
The main focus of this position will be electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation work, including:
Working with electrical systems from 12V up to 480V
Troubleshooting electrical issues on machinery and facility systems
Working with PLC-controlled equipment
Running conduit and wiring
Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components
Diagnosing problems with motors, controls, sensors, and related equipment
Additional Maintenance Duties
The right candidate should also have experience with, or be willing to learn, other maintenance systems including:
Pneumatic systems
Cylinders, fittings, solenoids, valves, air lines, and connections
Plumbing systems
Steam, water, and compressed air lines
Pumps
Diaphragm pumps, centrifugal pumps, and other industrial pump systems
Mechanical systems
Conveyors, motors, chains, sprockets, bearings, shafts, and related components
Hydraulic systems
Pumps, motors, cylinders, hoses, valves, and fittings
Forklifts and mobile equipment
Mechanical, hydraulic, propane, and general repair knowledge
Welding and fabrication
Arc, MIG, TIG, and general welding repairs
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting skills
Experience with 12V–480V systems
Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment
Ability to read electrical diagrams or schematics
Experience running conduit and wiring
General mechanical aptitude
Willingness to work on non-electrical systems when needed
Ability to troubleshoot problems independently
Good work ethic and attention to safety
Flexibility to help wherever needed to complete a full day’s work
Summary
We are primarily looking for an electrician with industrial maintenance experience, but the position will also involve general maintenance work across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, mechanical, forklift, pump, and welding systems.
