Industrial Maintenance Technician $30-$35/hr

Immediate hire for Industrial Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems and make appropriate repairs to return machinery to a satisfactory running condition. Work from drawings, schematics, job layouts and written or verbal instructions to perform assigned tasks. Perform moderate to complex adjustments, maintenance, and repairs to plant equipment such as bag machines, winders, extruders, stretch wrappers, and more.

Job Duties Include:

• Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase, 460 VAC motors/VFD systems, 120 VAC and 24 VAC control systems, and PLC systems and instrumentation.
• Adjust and repair compressors, chillers, pumps, gearboxes, and HVAC units.
• Troubleshoot and repair resin conveying systems and blenders.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all plant process and utility equipment, including lubrication, replacement of worn parts and filters, and equipment inspection.
• Analyze existing problems and help provide innovative solutions.
• Assist as needed on equipment installations and upgrades within the facility.
• Follow all OSHA regulations
• Properly record all work assigned on work orders and daily logs.
• Promote safety awareness and keep safety as a number one priority daily.
• Minimize equipment downtime through preventative maintenance and repair list completion.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatics and mechanical problems with blown film extrusion lines.
• Repair or replace defective parts
• Use hoists, cranes, hand tools, power tools, and safety lock-out devices
• Adjust functioning parts of equipment and control instruments

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and PLC systems
