Installer - Training Offered

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for experienced tradesmen who are interested in learning a new trade and developing specialized skills as a Lock Technician.

Responsibilities:

Receive hands-on training to build knowledge and proficiency in the locksmith/lock technician trade
Assist with installation of door hardware, locks, cylinders, closers, and related security components
Learn how to read installation instructions, drawings, and project specifications
Use hand and power tools to complete installations and adjustments
Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic locking systems
Measure, align, drill, and modify doors and hardware as needed
Work closely with experienced Lock Technicians and skilled trades professionals

Pay: $24-$25/hr

At least 1 year experience in a skilled trade such as carpentry, electrical, HVAC, welding, millwright, construction, or maintenance

Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail

Comfortable using hand and power tools
Ability to read basic measurements and follow instructions
Willingness to learn a specialized trade and receive on-the-job training
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to work safely in commercial and industrial environments
Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, bending, lifting, climbing, and working with tools
