About the Role

We are hiring hands-on Installers / Carpenters to join our mobile field crews. Prior screen installation experience is helpful, but not required. Solid carpentry skills, jobsite reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic matter most.

This is a field-based role. You will work on residential jobs throughout the Triangle, often outdoors, installing and repairing products that homeowners see and use every day.

What You’ll Do

Build and install custom window screens and porch screens
Repair existing screens, frames, doors, and related components
Install wood and aluminum screen doors and storm doors
Assist with 3-season porch conversions and porch enclosure projects
Perform light carpentry, trim work, adjustments, and minor painting as needed
Take accurate measurements and read a tape measure correctly
Keep jobs clean, organized, and professional
Use job checklists, photos, and company procedures to reduce callbacks
Communicate clearly with customers and team members
Help solve field problems the right way, not the shortcut way
Who We’re Looking For

The right person is dependable, coachable, and takes pride in quality work. You do not need to know every product we install on day one, but you do need to show up ready to work, learn, and improve.

Required

General carpentry, construction, remodeling, handyman, or related trade experience
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Understanding of square, level, plumb, and basic jobsite layout
Valid driver’s license
Smartphone for job communication, photos, and checklists
Reliable transportation to our Raleigh shop
Ability to lift materials, climb ladders, work outdoors, and stay productive in the field
Professional attitude with customers and coworkers
Preferred
Window screen, porch screen, storm door, screen door, EZE-Breeze, porch enclosure, trim carpentry, or exterior home improvement experience
Experience working from a service truck or mobile crew
Photos of previous carpentry, construction, or installation work
Ability to train helpers or grow into a lead installer role
Pay & Benefits

Pay is based on experience and proven ability.

Typical path:

Apprentice / Helper: entry-level or developing installer

Installer / Technician: experienced field installer who can complete tasks independently
Lead Technician: experienced installer who can own job quality, customer communication, and help train others
