Description
Want to learn a skilled trade with room to grow?
We install permanent architectural LED lighting on homes and businesses throughout the Austin area. We’re looking for dependable, mechanically inclined people to join our installation team.
Lighting experience is not required. We provide paid training for the right candidates. Experience in construction, roofing, electrical, framing, low-voltage wiring, HVAC, solar, or another hands-on trade is a plus.
THE WORK
This is active, hands-on installation work. A typical job may include:
- Installing lighting tracks along rooflines and architectural features
- Working from ladders and on roofs
- Crawling through attics to run wiring—this is a regular and essential part of the job
- Using hand and power tools
- Connecting and testing lighting components
- Troubleshooting installation or system issues
- Keeping the jobsite clean and treating customers’ homes with care
- Communicating professionally with homeowners and team members

Training: $20-$25 per hour depending on skill level
After training: Piece-rate compensation based on job size, quality, and performance
