Interior Demolition

Seeking a DC-licensed and insured contractor for interior soft demolition at a detached single-family home.

Scope:

• Remove drywall and wood wall paneling, leaving studs exposed.
• Remove suspended ceiling tiles, ceiling panels, and associated ceiling grid in the main level
• Remove main-level carpet. All bedroom floors will remain as-is
• Haul away all demolition debris.

Do not remove or damage structural framing, load-bearing walls, support posts, beams, stairs, or bedroom flooring. Preserve existing electrical wiring and plumbing.

Contractor must be licensed in Washington DC and be able to obtain the required demo permit. Work begins after the appropriate permit is issued. The total sq ft of the home is 1880.
