Renovation Technician

Humanitas Staffing is currently seeking reliable and motivated Renovation Technicians to join our team. We are looking for individuals with experience in apartment renovations, construction, or general maintenance who are dependable, safety-conscious, and take pride in producing quality work.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Work Locations: Los Angeles, Anaheim, Corona/Riverside, and Long Beach

Job Summary

The Renovation Technician is responsible for performing interior apartment renovation work, including demolition, repairs, installations, and finish work. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining a clean and safe job site.

Responsibilities

Meet with the supervisor to review daily assignments and priorities.

Perform demolition work according to project requirements.

Complete rough and finish carpentry tasks.

Install, patch, tape, and finish drywall.

Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs or installations.

Install subflooring and assist with flooring preparation.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Safely operate hand and power tools.

Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Work professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and residents when applicable.

Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience with apartment renovations, construction, or general maintenance preferred.

Experience with plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, or mechanical work is a plus.

Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Must have most or all basic hand and power tools.

Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to bend, climb stairs, stand, and walk for extended periods.

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to different job sites as needed.

Willingness to work overtime when required.
