Interviewing Construction Labor Foreman

Lead From the Front. Build With Your Crew.

We're looking for an experienced Labor Foreman to lead construction labor crews while working alongside them in the field in the Austin area.

This is a hands-on leadership position—not a desk job. We're looking for someone who leads by example, keeps crews productive, and isn't afraid to jump in and get the job done.

🔨 WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead and work alongside general labor crews on active construction sites.
Perform hands-on general labor and light carpentry as needed.
Assign daily tasks and help keep projects on schedule.
Promote a strong safety-first culture and enforce PPE requirements.
Train, mentor, and motivate crew members to improve productivity and workmanship.
Read and interpret construction plans, layouts, and work instructions.
Communicate with project superintendents and site leadership about:
Project progress
Manpower needs
Job site challenges
Identify and resolve field issues with a positive, solution-focused approach.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
Monitor crew attendance, productivity, and daily production.
Ensure work is completed safely and meets quality expectations.

👷 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Previous experience leading construction labor crews.

Hands-on experience with general construction and carpentry.
Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and project specifications.
Working knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various project sites.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus!
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
