Irrigation Service Technician

This position focuses primarily on the repair of irrigation systems: Including troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing a variety of system components. The applicant must be familiar with the various irrigation components. This position requires the ability to work independently as well as with a team and may sometimes require overtime. You must be available to work weekdays and occasional Saturdays, especially during the "busy season".
We do prefer 2 years of irrigation experience, however we will train with equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully learn to perform the duties listed below.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Repair and Service existing sprinkler systems
• Perform irrigation reroutes and assist with other irrigation crews when needed.
• Complete scheduled jobs on a daily basis
• Maintain good work habits
• Work independently to meet deadlines and achieve results
• Perform other related duties as required

Skills Required:

• Perform basic repairs and maintenance activities
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine solutions
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Work independently and in team situations
• Communicate and effectively interact with customers in a positive way
• Invoice customers and explain their charges
• Maintain truck stock on daily basis
• Bending, kneeling and digging are required

DRIVERS LICENSE IS A MUST

Compensation: Based on experience

• Paid vacation after one year of employment
• Paid major holidays after 90 days of employment
