Irrigation Service Technician

We are currently seeking highly experienced Senior/Master-Level Irrigation Specialists to lead irrigation crews and perform service calls. This is a customer-facing position.

Pay: $25-$30, Depending on experience

The Role: Senior Irrigation Specialist

This is a leadership role designed strictly for highly skilled technicians who thrive on solving complex problems, managing large projects, and leading crews in the field.

Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Oversee large-scale installations, upgrades, and seasonal start-ups.

Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex hydraulic and electrical issues involving valves, pumps, and controllers.

System Optimization: Program and optimize smart controllers and ensure full compliance with regulations and water conservation practices.

Crew Management: Train, lead, and support field teams to ensure top-quality execution.

Requirements:

Experience: 5+ years of dedicated, hands-on irrigation experience.

Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, smart irrigation principles, and heavy equipment (trenchers, multimeters, etc.).

Certifications: ALCA, IA (CIT, CID, CLIA, CIC), or equivalent credentials preferred.

Communication: Exceptional leadership and customer-facing skills to effectively communicate needs and present quotes.

Software Proficiency: Experience using quoting software and Microsoft Office utilities for professional report writing.

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Bonus Qualifications (Highly Desired):

Hands-on experience with 2-wire systems and IQ4 controllers.

Experience utilizing AI tools for irrigation design, estimates, and project management.
