Irrigation Service Technician

Professional Irrigation and Design, Inc. is a premier, family-owned company that has served Western PA since 2001. We are looking for a motivated Irrigation Service Technician to join our reputable team.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Seasonal.

Standard Hours: Monday – Friday.
Peak Demand: Weekend availability may be required on Saturdays during peak Spring, Summer, and Fall periods.
Pay: Competitive rates; starting pay is commensurate with mechanical skills and experience.
Company Vehicle: Once fully trained and ready to service routes independently, a work vehicle will be provided for transportation.
Key Responsibilities

System Service: Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining existing residential and commercial irrigation systems.
Tool Operation: Safe and effective use of hand tools (pipe cutters, wrenches), power tools, backflow testing equipment, and locating equipment.
Minor Digging: Using shovels and rakes to access pipes or restore turf after a repair is completed.
Customer Service: Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients on-site.
Requirements

Experience: Previous mechanical, plumbing, landscaping, or irrigation experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right motivated individual.
Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record.
Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors and perform manual tasks (lifting, bending, digging).
Reliability: Dependable transportation to our shop at 353 Railroad Street.
Note: Use of a personal vehicle is required for the initial training period until you are cleared for a company-provided work vehicle.
Experience:

Mechanical Skills: 2 years (Preferred)

Irrigation: 1 year (Preferred)

Clean Driving record and driver's license (Required)

Ability to Commute:

Evans City, PA 16033 (Required)

Willingness to travel:100% (Required)
