General Contractor doing commercial service work is looking for a carpenter/repair and maintenance service technician. We work on commercial buildings only. Any or all of the following skills will be a plus: carpentry, floor and wall tile repair, wall patching, painting, plumbing, door and door hardware repair, commercial cabinet building, ceiling tiles.

We work all over the Greater Bay Area, but the primary service areas are Contra Costa & Alameda counties, the Peninsula, San Jose, Monterey, some work in SF, sometimes Napa and Sonoma. You must have a reliable vehicle and you will need basic hand tools. There will be mostly regular day time hours, occasional night work and occasional after hours and weekend emergencies.

A background and drug test will be required. If you can’t pass a drug test or background check, don’t bother responding. If you have a misdemeanor, this may disqualify you. If you are honest and a responsible team player with a good work ethic who is looking to hire on with a seasoned commercial general and electrical contractor, please send your resume.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Service/Repair
• Understand the importance of maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
• Ability to pass background check and drug test
• Must have good communication skills, (written and verbal). Must be able to read/write/speak English
• Available to work on-call (occasional after hours emergencies and/or weekends)
