Jaguar Land Rover Wichita at Walser Auto Campus is looking for a Semi-Skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational automotive experience who wants to continue developing their technical skills while working around some of the most exciting luxury and performance vehicles on the road.

Already have Jaguar Land Rover experience? Great. New to the brands? That's okay.

We're looking for mechanical aptitude, reliability, and the desire to learn. You'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, continue building your technical capabilities, and learn within an established luxury automotive service operation.

Compensation: $20.00/hour + incentives for performance!

What You'll Do

As a Semi-Skilled Technician, you'll build on your automotive foundation by performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and light repair work while learning Jaguar Land Rover and Walser service standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform oil and filter changes

• Inspect and replace air and cabin filters

• Complete fluid services and changes

• Inspect, rotate, repair, and replace tires

• Perform brake inspections, adjustments, and cleaning

• Inspect and replace belts and hoses

• Replace bulbs and other light-service components

• Lubricate chassis, body, front-end, and drivetrain components as required

• Perform visual multi-point vehicle inspections and identify potential maintenance or safety needs

• Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)

• Perform additional light maintenance and repair work based on skill level

• Utilize TruVideo and dealership estimating tools to help provide customers with a transparent service experience

• Follow dealership, manufacturer, and workplace safety standards

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment

• Take on additional responsibilities as your skills and experience grow

What You Bring

You don't need to be a Jaguar Land Rover expert on Day 1. We're looking for someone who has a strong foundation and wants to keep learning.

• Prior experience performing automotive maintenance/oil changes and/or automotive education or technical training strongly preferred

• Mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in automotive repair

• Desire to learn and develop into a higher-skilled technician

• Reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute to the team

• Ability to work effectively alongside other technicians

• Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles strongly preferred

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs., and remain on your feet for extended periods
