Location: Brooklyn, NY
We are small artisan jewelry studio Brooklyn based creating handcrafted bronze and brass jewelry inspired by Mediterranean, Byzantine, and vintage European design. We are preparing for production of several new collections and are seeking an experienced jewelry assembler to become a long-term production partner.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed handwork, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and is looking for ongoing project-based assignments.We need safe reliable and trustworthy person.
Typical Projects
Projects may include:
  • Assembling bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and pendants woven pieces with a soft cords
  • Connecting cast brass and bronze components
  • Installing jump rings, connectors, and findings
  • Setting and gluing cabochons or decorative elements
  • Stringing gemstone and bead designs when required
  • Light finishing and quality inspection
  • Packaging completed pieces for delivery
We're Looking For Someone Who
  • Has experience assembling handmade jewelry or is highly skilled with fine handwork
  • Works carefully and maintains excellent attention to detail
  • Produces consistent, professional-quality work
  • Meets agreed production deadlines
  • Communicates clearly and reliably
  • Has a clean, organized workspace and their own basic jewelry tools
Helpful Experience
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
  • Jewelry assembly
  • Wire work
  • Bead stringing
  • Gluing jewelry components
  • Working with brass, bronze, gemstones, pearls, or semi-precious stones
  • Jewelry repair
  • Quality control

Compensation
Pay is based on each project's complexity and production volume. Successful applicants who demonstrate outstanding workmanship and reliability will have the opportunity to receive ongoing work as our company continues to expand.
A paid sample project will be provided before long-term production assignments begin.
