Jewelry Polisher / Finisher

Jewelry Polisher / Finisher needed for our jewelry manufacture and repair trade shop. Duties include cleaning and polishing fine jewelry, plating (involving chemicals), and maintaining the polishing room for proper operation, cleanliness and inventory supply. Some minor equipment maintenance is helpful but not required.

The position requires being able to work independently, while also working together with others as a team. A good eye for detail is a must and good physical endurance with the arms and upper body is helpful.

The present workload is such that after training and some proficiency is attained, the duties above can be achieved in a half a day. At that point other duties will be added such as casting and laser engraving, and possible 3D printer maintenance.

When our workload permits, and if aspiration and aptitude are present, this position may transition into goldsmithing beginning with basic functions such as sizing rings.
