Position: Job Foreman (Architectural & Structural Division Lead)
Operational Environment: Secured Side of Department of Energy (DOE) Nuclear Facilities

TECHNICAL CORE COMPETENCY (CIVILIAN SCOPE)

This position requires at least five years of verifiable commercial field experience leading crews in the trade areas below.

• Light Gauge Metal Framing & Drywall: Ability to manage layout and production for heavy/light gauge exterior wind-load framing, load-bearing metal structures, and high-performance drywall assemblies, such as shafts, blast-resistant walls, or radiation shielding.
• Acoustical Ceilings: Ability to oversee suspended acoustical ceilings (ACT) or specialty architectural grid systems while meeting strict leveling and seismic layout requirements.
• Doors & Hardware: Master-level familiarity with commercial and institutional grade-1 hardware installation, including high-security hollow metal doors, frames, and electronic access control hardware integration.
• Structural Steel & Concrete: Ability to read structural shop drawings, manage structural steel tie-ins, and oversee concrete placement and reinforcement.
• Quality Control Blueprint: Ability to verify that completed work matches the construction documents before requesting an inspection.

COMMAND, CULTURE, AND SOP COMPLIANCE
Our company uses structured Troop Leading Procedures (TLPs), Warning Orders (WARNORDs), Operations Orders (OPORDs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) adapted for construction work. This role requires the following leadership and communication abilities:

• The Warning Order (WARNORD): Ability to plan and brief the crew when receiving a new contract scope or a sudden change in work, before materials or machinery arrive on the floor.
• The Operations Order (OPORD): Ability to communicate the daily scope, production goals, safety hazards, and equipment coordination so each crew member understands their assignment and the overall objective.
• Discipline & Chain of Command: Ability to improve morale and correct poor work habits while maintaining standards, accountability, and crew cooperation.
• Fragmentary Orders (FRAGORDs): Ability to adapt the crew’s plan when material delays or site conflicts arise, without compromising safety or quality.

SECURITY CLEARANCE & SITE COMPLIANCE PRE-SCREENING
This position requires unescorted access to the secured side of a Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear power plant. Candidates must meet 10 CFR 73.56 Unescorted Access Authorization (UAA) standards. A DOE “L” or “Q” level clearance may be required depending on the final work location.

• Citizenship: Must be a United States citizen to meet the stated DOE clearance and unescorted-access requirements.
• Clearance History: Ability to provide the agency and status of any active federal security clearance, or one held within the past 24 months, including DoD Secret/Top Secret or DOE L/Q.
• Background Investigation Verifiability: Ability to undergo a Single-Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) covering the past 10 years, including residences, employment, foreign travel, criminal history, and credit, and to disclose any history that may affect adjudication.
• Fitness for Duty (10 CFR Part 26) & Drug Screening: Ability to comply with pre-employment drug screening, a background check, psychological evaluation, and ongoing random drug and alcohol testing under applicable nuclear regulatory standards.
• Unescorted Access Authorization (UAA): Ability to disclose any previous denial of unescorted access to an NRC-regulated facility or any revoked or terminated security clearance.
