Description
Position Summary:
Highly competent leader who has developed skills and knowledge necessary to understand, perform and lead a crew of carpenters who are working on complex and demanding finish carpentry woodwork projects.
Candidate must possess:
- Cabinet and millwork installation management experience on custom designed residential projects
- Ability to read plans and blueprints
- Exceptional lay-out skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to assess the need for communication in a timely manner that is honest, trustworthy and respectful of employees and clients
- Minimum 5 years hands-on finish carpentry experience, and two years as a lead/project manager
- Tracking and reporting changes to scope of projects, and implementation of change orders
- Desire to promote long term relationships with employees
- Experience with materials take-offs and procurement on complex projects
- Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Experience maintaining CalOSHA compliance regulations
