Job Lead– Finish Carpentry/Fine Casework Installation Journeyman

Position Summary:

Highly competent leader who has developed skills and knowledge necessary to understand, perform and lead a crew of carpenters who are working on complex and demanding finish carpentry woodwork projects.

Candidate must possess:

• Cabinet and millwork installation management experience on custom designed residential projects
• Ability to read plans and blueprints
• Exceptional lay-out skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to assess the need for communication in a timely manner that is honest, trustworthy and respectful of employees and clients
• Minimum 5 years hands-on finish carpentry experience, and two years as a lead/project manager
• Tracking and reporting changes to scope of projects, and implementation of change orders
• Desire to promote long term relationships with employees
• Experience with materials take-offs and procurement on complex projects
• Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Experience maintaining CalOSHA compliance regulations
