Job Offer - Carpenter/Runner - $18-$22/hr

We are currently seeking a Carpenter/Runner to join our team at Guiding Builders. Our company builds in both commercial and residential spaces, and services the Portland and Southern Maine region.

Qualifications:

• Basic experience in carpentry / construction
• Must have valid drivers license and means of transportation
• Strong work ethic
• Punctual
• Verifiable work history / references
• Valid drivers license
• Work well with others
• Ability to travel within Portland and Southern Maine region
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pick up and transport materials and carry up to 50 lb items alone (i.e. studs, bags of concrete, etc.)

Benfits:
- Pay rate is from $18 - $22/hr based upon experience

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

As one of our Carpenters/Runners, you'll be responsible for:

• Basic experience in construction
• Coordinating with our team on supply lists

• Pick up materials and drop off on job sites
• Working together with our team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standard of quality

• A basic understanding of different types of materials and their properties

• A strong attention to detail and commitment to producing excellent work
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• The ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation
