Journeyman Carpenter

We are looking for a journeyman level carpenter who has skills beyond carpentry to manage a diverse and changing set of necessary tasks. Minimum 5 years experience. Must be dependable, honest and have a great work ethic.

• You have a functional understanding of carpentry techniques and methods and a strong desire to learn and grow your skill set in this trade. You have some experience with concrete forming. You may have some experience with electrical or plumbing work.
• You are able to problem solve, employ critical thinking and have foundational math skills.
• You are driven to get the job done and able to be flexible in doing so. You take initiative when problems arise and solve them yourself if possible.
• You are able to work independently, managing and completing your daily activities according to the work schedule.
• You have good communication skills and are a competent English speaker.
• You have your own hand tools and power tools and experience working with them.
• You have a reliable vehicle, preferably a truck, show up on time for work and are willing to travel within Sonoma county.
• You are physically mobile and can stand and kneel for long periods of time and climb ladders.

Job Description: A Journeyman Carpenter performs a variety of construction tasks, including framing and finish carpentry, tiling, some plumbing and electrical.
