Journeyman Carpenter - McGuire Fence and Deck

Responsibilities:

Construct, install, and repair fences and decks according to project specifications

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to ensure accuracy

Collaborate with the project team to meet deadlines and achieve desired results

Operate and maintain various carpentry tools and equipment safely

Ensure compliance with building codes, safety guidelines, and quality standards

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior carpenters when necessary

Drive company vehicle and tow trailers

Pickup materials as needed

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Carpenter

Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and shaping materials with precision

Skilled in operating and maintaining carpentry tools and equipment

Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and an insurable driving record
