A & C Noma Construction, Inc. is looking for an experienced Journeyman Carpenter to join our growing construction team. We specialize in residential, HOA, apartment, and multi-unit property repairs and renovations throughout the North Bay.
We are seeking a skilled, dependable carpenter with strong experience in finish & rough carpentry, framing, trusses, siding, dry rot repairs, decks, stairs, elevated walkways, and general construction repairs.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Journeyman Carpenter will perform a variety of construction tasks on residential and multi-family projects, including structural repairs, framing, exterior repairs, finish work, and remodel support. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a crew.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform rough carpentry, framing, and structural repairs to building code requirements
- Install and repair siding, trim, stairs, decks, walkways, and exterior wood components
- Complete dry rot repairs and wood replacement
- Install windows, doors, base/case & trim
- Assist with bathroom, kitchen, and interior remodel projects
- Read and follow plans, layouts, measurements, and job instructions
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, crew members, and clients when needed
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
- Journeyman-level carpentry experience required
- Minimum 10 years of construction/carpentry experience preferred
- Strong background in rough carpentry, framing, and trusses
- Experience with decks, stairs, siding, dry rot repairs, and multi-unit properties a plus
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must own basic hand tools
- Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform physical construction work
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Competitive pay based on experience and skill level.
SCHEDULE
Full-time position. Local North Bay work with projects throughout Sonoma, Napa, and Marin Counties.
