Overview

Join our dynamic construction team as a Drywall Finisher/Taper and become a vital part of transforming spaces with precision and craftsmanship! In this role, you will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces to achieve smooth, flawless walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards. Your expertise in drywall taping, mudding, texturing, and repair will ensure our projects are completed efficiently and beautifully. Duties

Apply drywall joint compound (mud) using hand tools and power tools to create seamless wall surfaces
Tape joints and corners with drywall tape, ensuring a smooth finish for painting or further finishing
Texture walls and ceilings with various techniques to match project specifications
Repair damaged drywall by removing, patching, and refinishing surfaces for restoration projects
Read blueprints and construction plans to accurately interpret technical drawings and schematics
Install metal stud framing, trim carpentry, or other related components as needed for comprehensive wall systems
Follow safety protocols diligently while operating hand tools, power tools, and working at heights or in confined spaces
You must have experience with Bazooka!!!
Experience

Proven experience in drywall installation, taping, mudding, texturing, and repair on commercial or residential sites
Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings or schematics
Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools
Background in related trades such as plastering, framing, masonry, or flooring installation is a plus
Experience with restoration industry practices including water damage remediation and mold mitigation is advantageous
Ability to work independently or collaboratively on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
