Job Description:

As a 4-Year Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential settings while ensuring full compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes.

Duties & Responsibilities:
🔹 Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems for residential projects.
🔹 Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure all work aligns with Pro Tech Power’s safety and operational standards.
🔹 Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and job specifications.
🔹 Measure, cut, and install wire and electrical cable systems.
🔹 Terminate, pull, and feed wire and cable, including splicing and making junction connections.
🔹 Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, panel boards, inverters, batteries, and other electrical components.
🔹 Assist in training apprentices and delegate tasks efficiently.
🔹 Communicate effectively with foremen, office staff, and team members.
🔹 Maintain a clean and organized company van with up-to-date inventory.
🔹 Complete paperwork accurately and legibly.
🔹 Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications & Skills:
✔ Valid Oregon 4-Year Journeyman Electrician License
✔ Strong understanding of electrical codes, power systems, and control panels
✔ Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently
✔ Experience estimating material needs and placing orders
✔ Leadership skills with the ability to pre-plan and manage projects
✔ Excellent attendance and strong work ethic
✔ Professional, detail-oriented, and team player mindset
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Must have and maintain a clean driving record
✔ Basic computer skills for work order processing

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions:
💪 Lift up to 50 lbs and pull up to 70 lbs of force
🔧 Work in confined spaces, kneel, squat, and climb ladders
🌡 Work in varying environments (heat, cold, rain, snow, and noisy job sites)
🛠 Wear a 25 lb tool belt while performing duties
