Journeyman Electrician
Journeyman Electrician
Description
Experienced electricians can earn up to $40/hour at Cross Electric.
If you can walk onto a job, read the prints, plan the work, troubleshoot problems, bend conduit, lead an apprentice when needed, and produce clean work without someone standing over you — we're willing to pay for it.
The work is commercial, residential and light industrial — new construction, remodels, service calls, panel upgrades, generators, EV chargers, and solar throughout the Central Ohio area. We're a small crew and everybody does everything. If you only want to do one type of work, this isn't the spot.
What we're looking for:
Completion of a full traditional electrical apprenticeship program (IEC, ABC, JATC or equivalent) required for top-of-range journeyman pay
Commercial and residential experience
Strong conduit bending, troubleshooting, and installation skills
Able to read prints, plan work, and work independently
Able to lead an apprentice when needed
Must be willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays when the job calls for it
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Professional attitude and quality workmanship
What we offer:
$27–$40/hour based on experience and demonstrated ability
Overtime opportunities
Company vehicle
Paid holidays and vacation
401(k)
Dental insurance available
Short-term disability insurance available
To apply:

If you're already working but interested in seeing what Cross Electric has to offer, that's fine too. A conversation doesn't commit you to anything.
