Palomino Valley Electric is hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. We are an established, growing electrical contractor serving Reno, Sparks, and surrounding areas.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in clean, professional installations, enjoys solving problems, and can take ownership of a job from start to finish. Dependability, communication, and a positive attitude matter just as much as technical ability.

Our projects include high-end custom homes, residential and commercial service work, remodels, standby generators, panel upgrades, EV chargers, and lighting and control systems.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Journeyman-level experience with a valid journeyman license or equivalent certification.
Ability to read plans, understand electrical code requirements, troubleshoot problems, and complete safe, professional installations.
Ability to work independently, plan materials and tasks, and keep jobs moving without constant supervision.
Willingness to guide apprentices, communicate with the office and customers, and maintain a clean, organized jobsite.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a standard background check.
Experience with custom homes, service troubleshooting, generators, or lighting controls is a plus.

This is an experienced journeyman position, not an entry-level or apprentice opening.
