Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems and equipment
• Measure, cut, pull, and terminate wire and cable
• Bend and install various types of conduit, including EMT, rigid, and PVC
• Install wiring, transformers, switchgear, motors, panels, and other electrical components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues
• Perform electrical installations in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local building codes
• Inspect electrical systems and installations to ensure they meet safety and quality standards
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors on active construction sites
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
• Maintain accurate records of work performed
• Follow all site safety requirements and procedure0073

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial electrical construction experience
• Journeyman-level electrical experience
• Strong conduit bending and installation skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
• Must have your own tools of the trade
• Must be able to work safely and efficiently on an active construction site
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Reliable transportation to the jobsite

The hourly rate for this position is $34-$38/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
