Description

Journeyman Electrician – Service & Residential

Portland Metro Area, Oregon

Full-Time

We’re a growing electrical contractor looking for an experienced Oregon Journeyman Electrician who takes pride in doing excellent work and treating customers well.

This isn’t a position where you’ll spend every day doing the exact same thing. Our work includes residential service, troubleshooting, remodels, panel upgrades, EV chargers, lighting, dedicated circuits, and light commercial projects.

We’re looking for someone who can walk into a customer’s home, understand the problem, communicate clearly, and take ownership of getting the job done correctly.

What You’ll Do

  • Residential and light-commercial service work
  • Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Panel and service upgrades
  • EV charger installations
  • Dedicated circuits and equipment connections
  • Lighting, receptacles, switches, fans, and other electrical upgrades
  • Remodel and tenant-improvement work
  • Explain findings and repair options clearly to customers
  • Identify additional electrical concerns or projects while onsite
  • Document work, photos, materials, and recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area
We’re Looking for Someone Who

  • Holds a valid Oregon General Journeyman Electrician (J) license
  • Is strong at troubleshooting—not just installation
  • Can work independently and make good decisions in the field
  • Communicates comfortably with homeowners and customers
  • Shows up when scheduled and communicates early when there’s a problem
  • Takes pride in workmanship
  • Keeps jobsites clean and organized
  • Can work effectively with an apprentice
  • Is comfortable using a phone/app for scheduling, job notes, photos, and customer information
  • Wants responsibility and doesn’t need constant supervision
What Matters Here

We’re building a company where electricians are treated like professionals.

That means we expect professionalism in return.

We care about quality, communication, reliability, efficiency, and taking care of the customer.

We aren’t looking for someone who just wants to clock in and wait to be told what to do next. We’re looking for an electrician who notices problems, thinks ahead, communicates, and takes ownership of the job.

Compensation

Competitive journeyman pay based on experience and ability.

Benefits and additional compensation will be discussed during the interview.
