About the Role
Established, high-quality electrical contractor is hiring Journeyman Electricians / Experienced ETs in the Bay Area for a mix of:
- Commercial TI projects
- Electrical service work
- Residential upgrades & remodels
- Panel upgrades + EV chargers
- Lighting + power installs
- Troubleshooting + diagnostics
Projects Include:
- Commercial tenant improvements (retail, office, light industrial)
- Electrical service upgrades and distribution work
- Commercial lighting + power installations
- Panelboards, switchgear, feeders, and branch circuitry
- EV infrastructure installations
- Remodels, build-outs, and occupied-space renovations
- Service troubleshooting and emergency electrical response
Core Responsibilities (Commercial-Focused)
- Commercial electrical installation, troubleshooting, and modifications (120/208V, 277/480V systems)
- Tenant improvement rough-in, build-out, and finish work
- Panelboard installs, service upgrades, feeder installation, and equipment terminations
- Branch circuit installation, homeruns, dedicated equipment circuits, disconnects, and power distribution
- Commercial lighting installs, retrofits, controls, and switching modifications
- EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit installation with clean, professional bends
- Read plans, execute layouts, and coordinate field installation from drawings
- Perform service diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting using proper testing methods
- Install equipment feeds, disconnects, and commercial electrical infrastructure
- Lead helpers/apprentices and maintain production, safety, and installation quality
- Work efficiently in active commercial environments, retail spaces, and occupied buildings
- Coordinate with GCs, supers, and other trades in the field
- Handle occasional night work, shutdowns, or after-hours TI work when required
Ideal Candidate
- Strong Commercial TI experience
- Comfortable in both project work and service troubleshooting
- Clean conduit work and professional installation standards
- Can work independently without constant supervision
- Understands code compliance and commercial jobsite expectations
- Shows leadership potential
Must Have:

2+ years hands-on electrical field experience (service or commercial)

Valid CA Journeyman Card OR active ET card
β
Strong troubleshooting skills with meter + diagnostics
β
Experience in either commercial OR residential service (both is ideal)
β
Ability to work independently on service calls
β
Can lead a helper when needed
β
Reliable transportation + basic tools
β
Professional communication with customers and GC
β
MUST KNOW HOW TO BEND EMT
β
Flexible with schedule occasional night work and off-hours shifts are part of TI and service projects
Strongly Preferred (High Priority)
β Service electrician experience
β Panel upgrades and service changes
β Residential remodel / rewire experience
β Commercial TI experience
β Conduit bending + clean installs
β Blueprint + plan reading
β Panel make-up and terminations
β EV charger installs
β Ability to estimate small jobs in the field
β IR scanning experience is a plus
