Journeyman Plumber

Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring a Journeyman Plumber in Carrollton, TX.

2- Month Project
Shift: Monday-Saturday, 6 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Duties:

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in new construction, remodeling, and existing structures using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment.
Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing codes, and safety regulations.
Install pipes for water supply, drainage systems, gas piping systems, and other plumbing components.
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation and longevity.
Troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently by diagnosing problems through schematics and system analysis.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used; order supplies as needed.
Adhere to safety protocols at all times during construction site activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to meet project specifications and deadlines.

Requirements:

Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in residential or commercial settings.
Valid journeyman plumber certification.
Must pass a drug test and background check.
Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building codes, and safety regulations.
Experience reading blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical diagrams.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques.
Familiarity with construction site procedures, including heavy lifting and working at heights when necessary.
Strong understanding of plumbing system maintenance and repair practices within construction or field service environments.
Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to pipe measurements and system layouts.
Hands-on experience with remodeling projects or handyman tasks is a plus.
