Small company seeks journeyman plumber with minimum 7 years verifiable experience. Candidate should be capable of performing all tasks related to service, remodel, and new construction plumbing without supervision. Valid driver's license and hand tools required.
Work located primarily in East and North Bay.

Hello, my name is Maddie. I own and operate a small plumbing and hydronic heating company. Small as in just me so far. I am looking to hire my very first employee. Maybe that's you? The ideal candidate will be professional and capable of interacting well with customers. It is a must that you are comfortable performing all plumbing related tasks at a journeyman level without oversight.

That being said, you will not be asked to quote or organize jobs. I will coordinate any jobs other than basic service appointments. Company van and power tools will be provided. Pay depends on experienced but, I am flexible. Open to profit sharing, hourly, or a combination of both.

I myself am only 3 years out from my last job with a big bay area plumbing company, so I have a great deal of empathy and respect for you guys. Nothing against that type of gig, it just doesn't fit some people. I was one of those people. If you are one of those, hopefully working with me would mean something different for you. About me; I am a transgender woman roughly 4 years into this whole life transition thing. I have zero desire to get rat poop in my hair and lift 50 gallon water heaters myself anymore. It's barely possible at this point. I started plumbing 25 years ago at age 20.
My entire adult life basically. I got into radiant heating early on and have been specializing in it ever since. I believe that craftsmanship, possessing the necessary technical knowledge, and honesty are the core components to what we do.

The person I am looking for would become a huge part of this company if they worked out and had the desire. Shop foreman, possibly a partner at some point? Sky is the limit.
