Home Staging & Design Assistant

We are a busy boutique home staging company serving the Greater Boston area and are looking for a creative, energetic assistant to help with staging installations, styling, and project preparation.
This position is perfect for someone who loves interiors, home styling, real estate, decorating, visual merchandising, or design and wants hands-on experience in the field. Must be physically active person. We are on our feet and moving during the jobs! Applicants need reliable transportation/vehicle.
Responsibilities:

• Styling shelves, tables, and accessories
• Making and dressing beds to a luxury standard
• Unpacking and organizing décor
• Assisting with staging installations
• Hanging artwork and mirrors
• Inventory organization
• Light shopping and sourcing assistance
• Maintaining staging inventory and warehouse organization

Qualifications:

• Strong eye for design and aesthetics
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Reliable transportation
• Able to lift and carry small furnishings and décor items
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn • Experience in retail visual merchandising, interior design, home staging, or decorating is a plus

This is a hands-on role working directly with the owner on beautiful homes throughout the Boston area. The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, creative, and excited to learn the staging and design business.

Can style accessories
Makes beds beautifully (this can be taught)
Unpacks and organizes décor
Helps hang artwork and place accessories
Assists on installations
Keeps inventory organized
Can occasionally shop or source items
