KLM Utilities is looking for skilled, motivated, and energetic full-time electricians to join our team. We work on unique and challenging residential and commercial projects throughout San Francisco and the wider Bay Area. Compensation & Benefits
$30-$50hr Based on experience, with performance-based raises as warranted.
Paid Sick Leave: Accrues after 90 days.
Paid Vacation: Accrues after 1 year.

Mileage Reimbursement: Provided for qualifying travel between sites.
Monthly stipend for Smart Phone

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Drilling holes, rough-in work, and pulling Romex or MC cable.
Setting boxes and installing fixtures accurately to plan.
Trimming out devices: receptacles, switches, dimmers, lighting, and specialty controls.
Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Bending and running conduit, and pulling wire (pipe work experience is a strong plus).
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site (daily cleanup of work areas).
Submitting accurate, detailed daily timecards.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Verifiable field experience as an electrician (general construction knowledge and familiarity with related trades is a plus).
Current ET card or Certificate

Tools: Must have a complete set of standard hand and power tools for the trade (see tool guidelines at www.klmutilities.com/jobs/).

Transportation & Driver’s License: Reliable personal transportation capable of carrying your tools to/from job sites daily, and between local sites as needed. Must be able to commute throughout the Bay Area (up to a 75-mile radius, though the majority of projects are located within San Francisco). Travel compensation for projects further than 30 miles from our office

Communication & Tech: Must have a reliable smartphone with active text/call capabilities and email access. (A company email address, yourname@klmutilities.com, will be provided).
