Lab Technician

We are looking for a Lab Technician who has meticulous attention detail, is a quick learner and good at following established processes. The ideal candidate will have experience and aptitude in mechanical assembly, machining and fitting parts together. They will also be a self-starter who has the flexibility to assist in other areas of the factory as needed.

Product: Manufacturer and seller of Radiation Detectors. We provide a variety of solutions for nuclear radiation detection needs and work with a number of markets including: Energy, Medical, National Security and Defense, Industrial and Research.

Employee will be responsible for:

• Working within a team and following processes and procedures to produce Geiger Müller tubes of high quality and on time. Processes include: cleaning, assembly, processing, testing.
• Knowing and communicating quantities produced, yields and potential quality issues to Production Manager.
• The employee will also have the opportunity to perform Ad Hoc tasks for the Production Manager in many different production steps, shipping, and quality.

Required Skills/ Competencies:

• Prior experience as an electro-mechanical technician and/or working with vacuum systems a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills required.
• Team player with a friendly can-do attitude.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3PM
Pay Rate: $18 per hour
Location- West Houston ( I-10W & HWY 6)
