Environmental Field Technician – HAZWOPER 40-Hour Required

Location: Out-of-Area Project – Driving Required
Schedule: Thursday & Friday – Day Shift
Job Type: Short-Term / 2-Day Project
Pay: Prevailing Wage
We are looking for Environmental Field Technicians for an immediate two-day project this Thursday and Friday.
This is a prevailing wage project.
MUST HAVE A CURRENT 40-HOUR HAZWOPER CERTIFICATION TO BE CONSIDERED.
Please note that this project is located outside of the Sacramento area. Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite is required.
Job Duties
Assist with environmental field and site cleanup activities
Perform general labor and site support as directed
Assist with handling and removal of materials in accordance with site procedures
Follow all environmental, health, and safety requirements
Properly use required PPE and safety equipment
Work outdoors and perform physical labor throughout the shift
Complete basic project documentation as needed
Requirements
Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification – REQUIRED
Must be available to work both Thursday and Friday
Reliable transportation required – project is located outside of the Sacramento area
Previous environmental, remediation, construction, or general labor experience preferred
Comfortable working outdoors and in an active jobsite environment
Able to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
Dependable and able to report to the project on time

This is a two-day prevailing wage project with an immediate start. Candidates must be able to provide documentation of their 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification prior to starting and have reliable transportation to the project location.
