Laborers and Operators Needed

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Buck Hoist Operator and a Semi-Skilled Helper for an immediate, long-term opportunity in Tampa, Florida at the USF Football Stadium project. PAY: $20.00/hr

HOURS: 8 hour shifts - 1st or 2nd shift
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday; 40 hours/week
START DATE: Immediate / ASAP

Job Description:

This role will support multiple functions on a large-scale construction project. Responsibilities may include operating a buck hoist to transport personnel and materials, as well as assisting with general site duties such as maintaining fencing and barriers, installing signage, performing perimeter checks, and ensuring overall job site cleanliness. Additional tasks include upkeep of UTVs and monitoring site supplies such as water and coolers.

Qualifications:

Experience operating construction hoists or similar equipment preferred
General construction or labor experience required
Ability to follow safety procedures and job site protocols
Experience with basic hand tools is a plus
Reliable and able to work assigned shifts
Must be able to safely use hand tools, equipment, and PPE
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods (equipment operation)
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist throughout the workday
Must be able to perform general labor tasks in outdoor conditions
PPE / Tools Required:
Standard PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots)
Basic hand tools (if available)
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
Must pass a background check (basic/quick check required)
