Lake Michigan Construction Residential Home Builder is looking for an experienced carpenter to join our team. We coordinate, manage, and build many different projects such as new residential homes, remodels, and additions.
Our ideal teammate for this position would be someone motivated who enjoys a variety of work, both interior and exterior, and can adapt to meet what the project requires.

We are looking for someone that prioritizes detail, and craftsmanship. Also, you must have an eye for quality and show pride in your work.

Our Main working area is within a 45-minute radius of Rockford.

The ideal candidate should have the following:

• Vehicle and current driver’s license
• Leadership & problem-solving skills
• Experience working with all types of carpentry and any general tasks related to home construction process.
• Needs to be reliable, on time, and positive.
• Work well with others in several different environments including both inside and outside in the summer and winter as needed.
• Basic and somewhat advanced understanding of how to use the tools required.
• We are willing to train the right applicant in proper installation per the manufacturer’s specifications.

Trim Carpentry
Cabinet Installation
Final fits and finishes
Rough Framing- Includes exterior doors and window installation
Siding – Includes LP trim and siding instillation
Deck construction – Includes installing composite and treated materials

We are offering the following with this position:

Competitive pay based on experience level and skill set.
6 Paid holidays after 90-day probation period- Annual Pay increase.
Paid vacation and paid personal time every quarter.
This is a Full-time W-2 position.
