Chip-N-Dale’s Custom Landscaping is hiring an experienced, hands-on Foreman to lead a landscape construction crew on custom residential projects throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

For more than 30 years, CND has created one-of-a-kind outdoor environments that combine landscaping, irrigation, lighting, hardscapes, masonry, outdoor kitchens, fire features, and water features. Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a landscape construction crew.
• Set daily priorities and communicate clear expectations.
• Read residential landscape plans, dimensions, details, and elevations.
• Lay out work from the plans and verify measurements, grades, elevations, slopes, and alignment.
• Check installation quality and make corrections when needed.
• Plan ahead for irrigation, drainage, conduit, sleeves, and other underground infrastructure.
• Install and troubleshoot irrigation and low-voltage landscape lighting.
• Oversee proper planting practices and plant care.
• Coordinate CND’s work around other trades and communicate conflicts or concerns to the Superintendent or VP of Landscape.
• Track crew hours, production, materials, and job progress.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional jobsite.
• Communicate respectfully with crew members, management, subcontractors, and clients.
• Resolve day-to-day crew concerns and escalate larger issues when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Landscape construction leadership or Foreman experience.
• Ability to lead, train, and hold a crew accountable.
• Working ability in both English and Spanish.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to read landscape construction plans and build from them.
• Strong understanding of measurements, layout, grades, and elevations.
• Irrigation installation and troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of Southern Nevada plants and proper installation practices.
• Low-voltage landscape lighting experience.
• Dependable communication and follow-through.
• Ability to work outdoors in Las Vegas weather.

Preferred Craftsmanship
Experience with several of the following is a plus:

• Concrete, porcelain, and natural stone pavers.
• Masonry and decorative walls.
• Large-format porcelain or tile.
• Precision cuts and mitered corners.
• BBQ cabinets and equipment installation.
• Fire pits and water features.
• Synthetic turf.
• AMP or VOLT landscape lighting products.

The Foreman will not perform electrical, gas, pool, concrete, or countertop fabrication and installation. However, the Foreman must be able to understand these items on the plans, coordinate CND’s landscape work around them, and report apparent conflicts to management.
