Landscape Construction Team Member / Experienced Mason

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Construction Crew Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing landscape construction projects and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of landscape construction including hardscapes, equipment operation, planting along with proven leadership skills to manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a team of landscaping crew members in various projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
Coordinate daily activities and assign tasks based on crew strengths and project requirements.
Ensure worksites are in compliance with company standards and client expectations.
Provide training and mentorship to crew members on best practices in landscaping techniques.
Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition; report any repairs needed promptly.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
Requirements

Proven experience in landscape construction with a strong understanding of hardscaping projects.
Previous supervisory experience is highly preferred; demonstrated leadership skills are essential.
Knowledge of landscaping techniques, irrigation systems, and general construction methods.
Ability to read and interpret scaled landscape plans, along with good math skills to calculate elevations and slopes.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
