Residential/Commercial Landscape & Maintenance Company in Cave Creek is hiring for LANDSCAPE FOREMAN.
Must have transportation to and from work. Public transportation is not available near our work yard.
We are a non-smoking company and have a zero tolerance for drugs.
Pay $22-28 per hour DOE, PTO and BONUSES. WEEKLY PAY
Work Monday - Friday, minimum 8 hours per day, with occasional overtime.

JOB DESCRIPTION – LANDSCAPE FOREMAN

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a valid driver’s license and provide a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Clean Appearance
• Read, write and speak English and Spanish.
• 5 years experience in landscape installation, irrigation, lighting, pavers, travertine and stone veneer.
• Experience in reading plans and performing material take-offs.
• Capable of overseeing several individuals and multiple job sites.
• Knowledge of local plant pallets and identify primary plants.
• Capable of performing technical tasks as related to landscape installations while overseeing others.
• Possess the ability to teach other workers correct techniques.
• Possess the ability to manage time efficiently.
• Ability to talk with customers and make minor field changes.
• Ability to operate various power equipment and power tools safely.
• Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts.
• Must be able to pick up 50 lbs.
• Perform physical labor daily.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day.

DUTIES

• Drives truck and perform inspections as company policy.
• Maintain a specified inventory of materials and tools.
• Keep a clean (inside and out) organized truck.
• Instruct crew members as to the correct method of performing all tasks on job.
• Install vacuum breakers, irrigation controllers, transformers, valves/wire, boulders and trees.
• Job site layout per plan – landscape, boulders, irrigation, drainage, etc.
• Make minor field changes so that job is correct as intended.
• Material take-offs and basic order placement.
• Perform repairs if needed.
• Ensure that all work is performed correctly and to specification.
• Schedule on site tasks for maximum efficiency.
• Program controllers and timers.
• Control crew hours and overtime.
• Must be able to underground leaks and make necessary repairs.
• Communicate with other employees of our company and clients in a professional manner.
• Solve on-site problems and make changes accordingly.
• Schedules job site activities with supervisor.
• Perform or possess knowledge of all foreman responsibilities.
• Fuel as dictated by policy.
• Check fluids every time you fuel.
• Make punch list with supervisor.
• Completes punch list.
