LANDSCAPE INSTALLATION CREW MEMBERS NEEDED

Kaiser Gardens Inc. is a well-established, boutique landscape design/build/maintenance firm serving Marin County for nearly thirty years. We take pride in creating stunning outdoor environments — from tasteful stone and woodwork and eco-conscious plantings to complex lighting and irrigation systems. We are looking for highly skilled, hands-on crew members to join our team and work on installation projects full-time.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Minimum 8 years of direct landscape installation experience in the following areas:
Hardscape Installation
• Stone walls & patios, brickwork, pavers, retaining walls, arbors and trellises, cement work, etc.
Irrigation Systems

• System installation experience: backflow prevention, valves, controller programming, copper/PVC piping, spray and drip systems, zone layout, water calculations, etc.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues on the spot

Lighting Systems
• Design and calculate loads, install transformers, wiring, and fixtures
Carpentry Skills
• Constructing retaining walls, decks, fences, trellises, and arbors
Plant & Lawn Installation

• Extensive plant experience: names, installation specifications, pruning, watering needs, etc.
• Lawn: sod types, gopher/mole prevention, irrigation layout

Additional Qualifications

• Must be documented to work in the United States
• Own a reliable truck (bonus, not required)
• Tools (bonus, not required)
• Comfortable working outdoors in all Bay Area weather
• Expected to put in as much effort as any other crew member
• Landscape certifications (bonus, not required: QWEL, Bay-Friendly, Pest Applicator License, etc.)
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Reliable with paperwork—timesheets, receipts, forms, checklists
• Positive, professional, self-sufficient, and respectful of fellow workers and clients
• Follows direction, respects structure, and collaborates well with management
• Handles pressure, manages workload, and follows through on tasks
