Maintenance Quality Control / Horticulture Assista
Description
- Visit landscape properties throughout North San Diego County and help evaluate the quality of landscape maintenance
- Identify plants, pests, diseases, irrigation concerns, and other landscape issues
- Help identify trouble areas and make recommendations for improvement (training will be provided)
- Communicate observations and recommendations to our maintenance teams
- Help ensure our crews have the materials, tools, and products they need
- Pick up and deliver parts, products, tools, and supplies as needed
- Assist with other quality-control and maintenance-support duties
- Some knowledge of plants, pests, diseases, pruning, irrigation, and general landscape maintenance
- Horticulture education or experience is a plus
- Self-motivated and responsible
- Good attention to detail and pride in doing quality work
- Comfortable working outdoors and visiting multiple properties each day
- Able to work independently while also communicating well with our team
- Valid California driver’s license and good driving record
- Spanish-speaking skills are helpful, but not required
